A polished video can earn attention. A clear customer question, a relevant destination and a prepared response give that attention somewhere useful to go.
Start with one reason to watch
Consider a local campaign for customers comparing how a vehicle fits everyday life. The brief should name that audience and answer a specific question: space, charging, a product feature or the experience of visiting the store. “Show the car looking impressive” is an aesthetic direction, not a complete campaign objective.
Walk through the campaign
Make the approval responsibility explicit
Check the vehicle variant, features, visual accuracy, brand standards and any offer before publication. Generative production can introduce details that look plausible but are not correct. The person authorizing the asset needs the right source information and a clear revision process.
Format adaptation also needs judgment. A vertical short, a dealership screen and a product explanation may use the same underlying idea but should not be treated as identical cuts with different dimensions.
Prepare the sales handoff before the post goes live
Choose the destination, the question the customer is invited to ask, and who will respond. Give that person the published content and approved facts. A generic inbox with no owner is not a completed handoff.
For example, an inquiry can arrive with context about the vehicle or feature shown. The team then confirms the customer’s need, verifies current information and offers an appropriate next conversation. Availability and appointments must be checked in the authorized system, not invented in a response.
Review different outcomes separately
| Layer | Useful observations | What it does not prove alone |
|---|---|---|
| Production | Revision effort, delivery time, factual and brand review | Customer demand or incremental sales |
| Audience response | Relevant views, engagement and visits to the destination | Qualified inquiries or appointments |
| Customer conversation | Questions received, useful replies and appointment follow-up | Incremental sales caused by the campaign |
| Commercial outcome | Outcomes available from the agreed measurement process | A causal effect without suitable comparison evidence |
Agree the next cycle
Review the creative, the destination and the response process together. Repeat the parts that were useful and revise the weak link. A campaign can need a better customer question, a faster factual approval process or a clearer response owner—not necessarily more videos.
